About Course

History and teachings
Made up of 500 acres, Yorkshire Sculpture Park is an outdoor sculpture exhibition where large sculptures can be viewed by visitors.

Cross-cultural dimensions
Taking an outdoor approach to showcasing different artistic creations, Yorkshire Sculpture Park connects visitors through many artists’ sculptures and their meanings based on their own experience, some of these artists having colourful backgrounds and others from across the world. Visitors can explore the park for its history and the influence society has had on culture through what these artists may portray.

Useful information:
Recommended for anyone interested in art. General. Does sometimes require prior knowledge however be prepared for outdoors. Admission is £6 per person and under 18s is free. Flexible times as park is open all day.

Parking/ disabled parking available. In the countryside so driving/ cycling is usually required in order to get there. Guide dogs allowed, wheelchair access is limited due to uneven ground.
