History and teachings
Toledo is known as the city of the three cultures, as during the medieval era jewish, muslims, and catholics lived together in peace. That’s why the city is full of historical monuments and culture everywhere you look -and that’s why we couldn’t decide just a monument to visit. Besides, it was the capital of Spain during decades (until 1561). It’s a city to learn and discover the history of Spain.

Cross-cultural dimensions
Knowing the history of Spain is knowing the history of Europe. Although each country has a particular history, they can be related , so a bigger understanding of our past is adquired.

Toledo is located in Castilla-La Mancha. It’s accessible by train and bus, and close to the airport of Madrid. Staff can be found in each monument, as well as on the walking tours. Though the majority of the streets are adapted for disabled (there are even elevators), it’s not very convenient as it is a city with many hills and narrow streets. The majority of the monuments and even tours are on Spanish and English.
