History and teachings
The 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival is dedicated to feature-length fiction and experimental films and everyone can submit their own work in order to participate. Generally, this festival tries to discover subversive filmmakers and the best films from all over the world in the three competition sections of TIFF. TIFF, also, presents the annual Greek production, tributes and cinematic surprises and gives the opportunity to film professionals to connect at TIFF’s Market.

Cross-cultural dimensions
The institution of Thessaloniki’s International Film Festival is a project that is being continued for many years and tries to connect the film culture of a great amount of countries. Participants could be people from all over the world, aiming to connect all the european cities and to offer people the opportunity to exchange ideas, cultural and cinematic approaches while they are able to participate in an international project that has a powerful response all over the world.
