Rockwave Festival began its journey back in 1996.

Rockwave Festival is music, dance, headbanging, air-guitar, amplifiers, mics, sweat, laughter, boys, girls, colors, drinks, grass, but above all, Rockwave Festival is the moments and the memories fans make.

Rockwave Festival is part of YOUROPE (Official European Union of the biggest festivals, with the strictest inclusion criteria, approved by Brussels) and of ETEP (European program for the showcase, promotion and exchange of emerging artists within the EU member states).

Being among the biggest festivals worldwide, Rockwave Festival welcomes each year the greatest bands and most popular artists of the music industry, as well as festival goers from all around the world.

Cross-cultural dimensions
Rockwave Festival connects people and artists (especially musicians) from allover the world. Every year participants and followers of the festival gather all together in Malakasa in order to live this experience for these special days. Up to this day, over 300 international and Greek artists are a part of Rockwave’s Festival history
