As it is a protected natural area, a lot of flora and fauna can be seen during this visit, which varies depending on the moment of the visit and the routes selected. Main fauna includes ibex, the Iberian imperial eagle and the black vulture, as well as the Iberian deer; and main flora holm oak and cork oak groves, scrubland and scrubland, and trap fields. Also, visitors can see fossils that date back from more than 500 millions of years, as informed on the website of Castilla-La Mancha tourism.

The Parque nacional de CabaƱeros is known as the Europe’s largest Mediterranean forest. It respresents, therefore, such an important heritage of our culture, as there we can see some species that are unique in the world.
