Houses one of Europe’s great art collections. It is the most popular free-to-enter visitor attraction in Scotland and the most visited museum in the United Kingdom outside London. it was organised into two halves: Life and Expression. The Life galleries represent natural history, human history and prehistory. The Expression galleries include the fine art collections. The gallery even includes works by Monet, Gauguin and Renoir.
Cross-cultural dimensions
One of Scotland’s most popular visitor attractions, the gallery will have hosted many individual art pieces over the years. Art, coming from all over the world and being influenced from culture to culture, the gallery would play a part in exposing visitors to the societal differences throughout history and different cultures over time.
