It is not surprising then, that Geoparkea is part of the European Geoparks Network and the Global Geoparks Network since 2010

Cross-cultural dimensions
As said before, Geoparkea is part of the European Geoparks Network and the Global Geoparks Network since 2010, and also takes part on the UNESCO Global Geopark. So it’s not only related to the experiences across Europe but across the world (although each geopark is unique)

It’s located in the Basque Coast, between the Cantabrian Sea and the Basque mountains. It’s possible to arrive by train, bus or car; and airport of Bilbao is nearby. There is the possibility to adquire tours with technical staff. It’s not recommended for disabled, though some activities may be accessible. Main languages are Spanish and Basque, though some tours are also in English, French and German
