History and teachings
Csopa Science Center is the first interactive scientific playing area in Hungary having received its visitors for 21 years now from all age groups who wish to play to know more. Csopa offers a full-day programme with more than 250 games and tools demonstrating various physical phenomena, 4 fascinating lectures and experimental demonstrations every day in the Öveges auditorium, spectacular 5D, 9D and circle cinema ride movies and diverse programmes.

Cross-cultural dimensions
Hungary stands out in sciences, the number of inventors and Nobel Prize holders as a percentage of the population. The ballpoint pen is a Hungarian invention; Vitamin C was discovered in Hungary and research of Dr. Ignác Semmelweis significantly contributed to reduce maternal mortality. Hungary also contributed to the European culture with the world-famous logic game called Rubik-cube.
